The Guesthouse ****

Val du Charron’s  4 star Guesthouse invites young and old, business and leisure travellers  to enjoy the beauty of the Cape winelands with all the convenience you would expect from luxury accommodation.

With 18 en suite rooms each with its own balcony, you can soak in the views while you enjoy a cold drink from the minibar or a gourmet coffee from the in-room drinks station.

We also have one room with no view and another room with garden views.

If you are visiting us to unwind, tan by the pool in the glorious sunshine, read a book from the library or play a board game in the lounge if there are clouds in the sky. 

Kids are welcome! Our spacious family room is great for moms and dads and kids sharing. With a pool, jungle gym, splash pad and plenty of place to roam the kids will be entertained while you enjoy a fabulous meal at either of the Estate’s two restaurants.

The Coach House *****

The Coach House @ Val du Charron offers luxury 5-Star accommodation in Wellington, Cape Winelands.

With only three spacious suites, each with its own plunge pool and private patio with built in wood burning fireplace, the Coach House is your private space to unwind while overlooking the majestic winelands and mountains.

Relax in your sensuous spa bath or shower for two. Remember to book your onsite spa treatment to complete the ritual.

Take in the unique design elements such as the natural stone features and striking stain glass window features. Enjoy the mod-cons such as wifi, air conditioning and mini bar.

And why not order in? Enjoy a choice of meals from either of the two restaurants on the Estate delivered to your patio. Naturally, you are welcome to make use of all the Guesthouse facilities from lounge to conference room and pool.

The Manor House

With a commanding view of Hawekwa mountains, the Manor House offers guests complete privacy with every detail for the ultimate comfort considered. The space is ideally suited to honeymooners or families looking for a luxurious, private and relaxing holiday experience.

The Manor House can accommodate 4 adults and 2 under 7’s sharing with parents. The main house features two en-suite bedrooms. Children can be accommodated adjacent to the games room in two single beds or in the exterior gable room with two twin beds en suite. 

The private dining and living space in the Manor House features a formal lounge with large fireplace (ideal for pre- or post-dinner drinks), a large dining room, expansive balcony with fire place ideal for outdoor living, a games room with pool table and flat screen TV, fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable TV room with a widescreen smart TV and wood-burning fireplace.

Day trips to Val du Charron

Val du Charron can easily accommodate tour buses for tastings, vineyard tours, cellar tours and meals. We have a big parking lot where a coach can easily turn around. Our unique wine tasting experience, The Theatre of Wine, has become renowned and is now translated in to French, German and Dutch. We are also winners of this year’s prestigious Drinks International Most Innovative Approach Wine Tourism award.

Dining @ Val du Charron

The Grillroom - With expansive views of the vineyards and mountains, The Grillroom is a bespoke steakhouse specialising in grain and grass fed aged meats as well as a wide variety of other options.

Pizza Vista - Our family friendly Pizzeria, Pizza Vista, is the place to hang out on a lazy day or after a long ride on our mountain bike trails.

While mom and dad are having lunch, kids can cool down at our water park located on our lawn in front of the restaurant.  Pop in and choose from a variety of pizzas, calzones and delicious pasta dishes and wash it all down with a craft beer or a thirst-quenching cocktail. It really is a family fun affair at Pizza Vista.
